The Doing Sociology team spoke to Professor Sari Hanafi. He is currently a Professor of Sociology at the American University of Beirut. He is also the President of the International Sociological Association (ISA). We speak to him about Public Sociology and its many possibilities. Using both his experiences of teaching and being involved with the ISA, he looks at the role of Sociology in global crises such as the Israel Palestine conflict.
