Gita Chadha teaches Sociology in University of Mumbai. Her areas of academic interest include sociological theory, feminist science studies, sociology of knowledge, intersectional feminist epistemologies and visual cultures. She has designed and taught the first feminist science studies course in India at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. She has developed frameworks for feminist archiving at the Research Centre for Women’s Studies, SNDT Women’s University, and has designed interdisciplinary pedagogic initiatives for integrating science and social science teaching.
