Rituparna Patgiri is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati. She is also serving as an Associate Editor for the journal Society, published by Springer Nature. She has earlier taught at the Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (TSLAS), Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), Patiala, Indraprastha College for Women (IPCW), University of Delhi, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and Gauhati University. She is interested in issues of food, culture, gender, media and pedagogy.
Maitrayee Chaudhuri is a retired Professor from the Centre for the Study of Social Systems, (CSSS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Her research interests have been on the making of the public discourse in modern India. Her early work focused on nationalism, colonialism, and feminism in India. Since the early 1990s, she has been looking at the changing nature of public discourse in the context of both neoliberalism and the rise of majoritarianism. At present, she is the President of the Indian Sociological Society (ISS).
Aashirwad Chakravarty is a PhD research scholar at the Department of Sociology, Cotton University and a guest faculty at the Department of Sociology, Gauhati University.
Chinmoy Deori has done an MA in Visual Arts from Dr B R Ambedkar University, New Delhi. He is currently working with the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA), New Delhi.
Jahnvi Jha has an MA in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics (DSE). She is currently working with Outline India.
