Farha Ternikar is the director of Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies at Le Moyne College, Syracuse, New York. She is the author of Intersectionality and the Muslim South Asian Middle Class: Beyond Hijab and Halal (2021). She currently serves on the advisory board of the Association for the Study of Food and Society (ASFS).
