Ravinder Kaur is an Emeritus Professor of Sociology and Social Anthropology at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. Her areas of research are sociology of gender, family, marriage, kinship, middle class, technology, higher education and women in science and technology. Currently, she is a co-PI (and was the founder PI) of a five-year project on Women in STEM funded by the Co-Impact Gender Fund. She has also recently completed a project on “Femtech and the Possibilities, Pitfalls and Politics of Digital Reproductive Health Management in India: Envisioning Better Reproductive Futures.”
