Bandana Purkayastha is the Vice President for National Associations in the International Sociological Association (ISA). She is a Board of Trustees Distinguished professor at the University of Connecticut, with a joint appointment in Sociology and Asian and Asian American Studies.

Geoffrey Pleyers is an F.R.S-FNRS researcher and professor of Sociology at the University of Louvain, Belgium. He is the current president of the International Sociological Association (ISA).

Joya Misra is Provost Professor and Roy J. Zuckerberg Endowed Leadership Chair at the University of Massachusetts, where she is jointly appointed in Sociology and Public Policy. She is currently the President of the American Sociological Association (ASA).

Maitrayee Chaudhuri is a former Professor of Sociology at the Centre for the Study of Social Systems (CSSS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). She is one of the co-founders of Doing Sociology.
