Suruchi Thapar-Björkert is an Associate Professor at Uppsala University, Sweden. She has a PhD from the Center for the Study of Women and Gender, Department of Sociology, University of Warwick. Some of her published works include Women in the Indian National Movement: Unseen Faces and Unheard Voices, 1930-42 (published by Sage in 2006 and nominated as a Sage classic in 2015) and Postcolonial and Postsocialist Dialogues: Intersections, Opacities, Challenges in Feminist Theorizing and Practice (co-edited, published by Routledge in 2021).
