Rajni Palriwala was a Professor of Sociology at the Department of Sociology, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. Her research interests include gender, kinship and marriage, care, citizenship, and the state, feminist theory and politics, agrarian and development studies and comparative sociology.
